Honey Beauty Collective

I’m Jesennia , the artist behind Honey Beauty Collective. My story didn’t begin with opportunity. It began with interruption , a life cut short in places where it should have grown, I didn’t inherit ease; I inherited resilience.Art became the first place I ever felt free.

Hair, makeup, photography,Art and music gave me language when life didn’t. Through music, I reconnected with my roots.Through artistry, I began rewriting patterns that were handed down to me. And through community, I learned that giving back isn’t optional ,it’s cultural.

Everything I create now is tied to that path.I build from what Ive overcame, not what I lost.I create to honor the people who raised me and the ones who never had the chance to explore their own expression. I work to add value back into the culture and community that shaped me.

My mission is simple:

reform old cycles, create new pathways, and encourage others to do the same.I use every medium I touch hair, makeup, photography, tattooing, and sound ,to inspire people to reclaim their stories and pour back into their own lives. My work isn’t just about appearance; it’s about giving people room to see themselves differently, to reconnect, to grow, and to choose what comes next.

HBC is the community I’m building from this purpose a collective of people who believe in creating new waves, honoring their identity, and creating from a place that honors where they come from and where they’re headed. This isn’t just my artistry. This is the continuation of a story that should’ve had more pages and the beginning of a new one I’m writing with my hands, my culture, and the community I serve.

Reconnecting   Remembering  Returning

As Beauty & Identity Coach rooted in ancestral resilience, community work, and over a decade of experience in the beauty and healing arts. My background spans crisis support, CBT-based skills education, anger management instruction, AOD prevention, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed communication, and restorative, community-centered work with sensitive and Indigenous communities. Alongside 12+ years in the beauty industry as a hairstylist, makeup artist, photographer, and creative, I’ve learned how deeply self-image, identity, and emotional wellbeing connect. Today, I guide women who are ready to rebuild confidence, and walk through their own fire to create discipline, break old patterns, reconnect to their spirit, and step into their next era of self-expression. My work is not therapy—it is guided self-development, ancestral grounding, and creative empowerment designed to help you return to yourself with clarity, strength, and intention.
