Hi, I’m Jesennia Garcia  a licensed cosmetologist, artist, photographer, and community-rooted activist. My work lives at the intersection of beauty, storytelling, and healing.

I come from a background of working with Indigenous and underserved communities, where I supported people through trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and personal transformation. That work shaped the way I show up in the beauty world today — with intention, presence, and deep respect for everyone’s story.

Behind the chair, I specialize in natural movement haircuts, dimensional color, and restorative, grounded client experiences. I don’t just style hair — I create a safe space for people to reconnect with themselves, release old narratives, and see their beauty through a new lens. I believe that beauty is not superficial; it’s a form of identity work, empowerment, and reclamation.

As an artist and photographer, I see the world through composition, emotion, and visual storytelling. Whether I’m capturing someone through my camera or shaping their hair, my goal is always the same: to reveal the version of themselves they’ve been growing toward. My creative eye guides everything I do — from color placement to face-framing to the way I hold space for each person I work with.

As an activist, I advocate for community wellness, cultural preservation, self-expression, and generational healing. My work is influenced by ancestry, resilience, and the belief that beauty and art can be powerful tools for restoring confidence, identity, and self-worth.

My brand, HoneysBeautyCollective, represents self-made strength, softness, art, and the journey of returning to oneself. I pour my creativity, heart, and community values into every service I offer — whether it’s a haircut, a color transformation, or a photography session.
